Motor Carrier Permits (Intrastate Authority)

To obtain intrastate authority for Public Movers and Warehousemen, you must submit the following:

  • Completed Application
  • Fee
  • Proof of insurance
  • BOC-3 Form if not domiciled in Mississippi

Submit all paperwork to: Mississippi Department of Transportation

Once the application is received, processing takes 2-3 months. License must renewed each year. Renewal forms are mailed out and must be returned by mail.

  • Statement of Financial Condition
  • Articles of Incorporation or other business formation documents
  • Proof of insurance
  • Equipment List
  • BOC-3 Form if not domiciled in Mississippi
